Muhammad Munir

He graduated from the Infantry Division of the Military Academy in 1983. His experience included the following positions: Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army from 2013 to 2015; Aide to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono; Chief of Staff of the1st Infantry Division, Army Strategic Command; Chief of Staff of the Jakarta Raya Military Regional Command; Commander of the 2nd Division Army Strategic Command; Commander of the 3rd Territorial Military Region/Siliwangi; Commander of Army Strategic Command; Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army; High Ranking Officer of the Indonesian Army Headquarters; and Secretary General of the National Defense Council up to 2016. He is currently Chairman of the Experts Council at the State Intelligence Agency (Badan Intelijen Negara - BIN).
