A graduate of the Indonesian National Police Academy (Akpol) in 1991. Prior to joining PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) or MIND ID, he served as the Head of the Security Maintenance Agency of the Indonesian National Police (Kabaharkam). He was previously the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief (Kapolda Metro Jaya) from 16 November 2020 to 27 March 2023, and the East Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jawa Timur) in May 2020.
