Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Bandung) in 1993.
Prior to joining PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) or MIND ID, he built extensive experience in the energy and mining sectors. He served as Director of Business Development and Commercial of Petrogas Jatim Utama from 2019 to 2020, President Director of PT PGN Tbk from 2020 to 2021, and Independent Commissioner of PT Bukit Asam Tbk from 2025 to 2026.
