MIND ID Group Provides Facilities in 10 Strategic Points for Return Journey of Eid al-Fitri (Lebaran) Homecoming

Jakarta, 8 April 2025 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, has again provided resting facilities for health and children’s playground for people returning from their homecoming trips to support the smooth flow and security  after Lebaran 2025. 

Together with Group Members such as ANTAM, Bukit Asam, INALUM and TIMAH, MIND ID is present in more than 10 strategic points of the homecoming flow available along the strategic roadways of Java-Sumatra and Sulawesi, starting from the Airport, Port and Train Station as well as Rest Areas on toll roads.

This facility is again provided as a contribution from the MIND ID Group in ensuring that homebound travellers can return to their cities safely, comfortably and healthily after celebrating the Idul Fitri Lebaran holiday at their villages.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Heri Yusuf, explained that the homeward bound trips frequently need physical and mental energy as it is the end of the holiday period and the rise in volume of those returning from their homeward trip.

In such a condition, the preparedness of all manner of vehicles, and the health of all the homebound people have become crucial and must be maintained.

“MIND ID understands that the homebound trip is a very crucial period. That is why we endeavour to provide facilities, not only a place for rest, but also a place where the homebound people can recover, so that they remain healthy and safe until their destination,” said Heri.

Heri explained that each post prepared by the MIND ID Group in collaboration with other State-Owned Enterprises, is complemented by various facilities to support the recovery of physical and mental conditions of the homebound travellers.

Free health checkups, comfortable place for rest, emergency needs, to snacks of light food and drinks are provided.

Several points also provide play areas for children, in order that the trip is enjoyable for the whole family.

Not only that, the MIND ID Group’s homebound posts also function as a center of information and assistance. Officers at the locations are ready to help homebound people with the latest information, transportation schedules, as well as providing first aid if necessary.

Heri added that company hopes the presence of the MIND ID Group provides actual meaning and benefits for the people.
