MIND ID Group deploys Emergency Response Group and Food Items to Assist Cianjur Earthquake Victims

Cianjur – Responding to the Cianjur earthquake on 21 November 2022 at 13.21 WIB, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam), member of MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, deployed its Emergency Response Group (ERG), to assist the Disaster Response Team of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of State Enterprises, on 22 November.

ANTAM’s Director of Operations and Production, Dewa Wirantaya, explained that as an initial disaster response, the Company sent twelve ANTAM ERG personnel consisting of a coordinator and technical team leader, supporting, rescuer, medical team, and logistics, to assist the handling and recovery process of the Cianjur earthquake victims.

“Twelve personnel, consisting of ANTAM employees from several business units, will assist the Disaster Response team of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of State Enterprises. At this time, the team has made its way to Cianjur and has coordinated with the Task Force of the Ministry of State Enterprises and Disaster Response Team of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources,” said Dewa.

Dewa hopes that the presence of the ERG and logistics aid from ANTAM will be able to assist the Government’s efforts in hastening the handling of the Cianjur earthquake aftermath.

“ANTAM’s ERG team is equipped with disaster response equipment, including medical supply and medicine, which is aimed at lessening the burden of those who are affected by this disaster,” he said.

“In this initial phase, we will undertake the mapping and coordination with stakeholders, specifically local stakeholders and the related Ministry, to plan on how to handle the Cianjur earthquake disaster,” he added.

MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with the Disaster Task Force of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise, also donated packages of food items.

“We also feel the deepest sorrow for those who have died in the disaster. We will continuously observe the needs of those who are injured and the communities impacted by the disaster. At this time, we have distributed 1550 packages of food items for the communities and 150 blankets,” said MIND ID’s Director of Institutional Relations, Dany Amrul Ichdan.
