MIND ID Group Supports National Nutrition Improvement Through the Distribution of 732 Sacrificial Animals at Eid al-Adha Festival of Sacrifice “Hari Raya Iduladha 1446 H”

Jakarta, 6 June 2025 – In the spirit of sacrifice and caring which have become the main theme of Hari Raya Iduladha commemoration, MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, again shows its commitment towards national development.

This year, the MIND ID Group channels 732 sacrificial animals as part of its sustainable strategy to support public nutrition improvement as well as strengthen the quality of human resources in Indonesia.

The channeling of sacrificial animals is not merely a symbol of seasonal caring, but is part of MIND ID’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which is implemented consistently and sustainably.

Contribution of the total 732 sacrificial animals came from MIND ID and Group Members, namely PT Aneka Tambang, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium, PT Timah Tbk, as well as two affiliates, PT Freeport Indonesia and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that through the distribution of sacrifical animals to various operational areas, the company plays an active role in expanding public access to animal-based protein intake – particularly in areas that face nutritional fulfillment challenges.

“We give significance to the Iduladha momentum as an encouragement to strengthen our empathy and social solidarity. The channeling of animals constitutes a real contribution from the MIND ID Group in supporting the improvement of public nutrition, while at the same time, part of our long term commitment in bringing about social welfare, particularly in the areas surrounding our operational territory,” Pria said. 

He further explained that at this year’s Iduladha celebration, the management and staff of the MIND ID Group take direct participation in the slaughtering and distribution of the sacrifical animals. This is hoped to further strengthen the relations between the company and local people, as well as encourage the creation of more collaborative programs in future.
