MIND ID Group Again Receives Subroto Award 2024

Jakarta, 10 October 2024 – MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, raises its operational performance through the management of reserves as well as initiatives of the integrated downstream program of Indonesia’s mineral and coal sector.

Through the implementation of good corporate governance and good mining practices, MIND ID supports the government in optimizing minerals and coal to build the future of Indonesia.

For its commitment to sustainability, the MIND ID Group again received the Subroto Award 2024 from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) on Thursday (10/10/2024).

The Subroto Award is the highest award in the energy and mineral resource sector, and it was given by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to stakeholders who have performed extremely well in advancing the energy and mineral resources sector.

President Joko Widodo and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, were present to open the program for the most prestigious award in Indonesian energy and mineral resources.

MIND ID Director of Risk Management and HSSE, Nur Hidayat Udin, and other MIND ID Group executives were also present at the ceremony.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Heri Yusuf, said that the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, with members PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium, PT Timah Tbk, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, continues to run operations, putting forward the escalation of optimal added value and implementation of good corporate governance principles.

The MIND ID Group is certain that mineral and coal are limited natural resources, therefore, their utilization must be based on mature calculations so that the biggest impact can be attained for the country and the welfare of the entire people.

“The Subroto Award 2024 from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is an extremely good opportunity for us in the MIND ID Group to renew our spirit and consistency in running sustainable operations,” he said.

Heri added that from the operational side, MIND ID Group puts forth smart operations through automation, digitalization, and innovation for the sake of creating efficiency and the ability to minimize risks on the job.

Moreover, the MIND ID Group has set operational standards to ensure performance improvement can be consistently reached in the long term.

All strategic initiatives have been implemented with the spirit of building a wider integration in order that the chains of benefit can be felt by all parties, including the people living in the surrounding areas of operations.

MIND ID Group has been awarded the Subroto Award 2024, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) two awards for its operational units, namely, ANTAM UPBE Pongkor for its Contribution to the Local People, and PT GAG Nikel an award for Compliance of Obligation towards Non-Tax State Revenue.

PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) also received two awards for Contribution to the Local People, and Compliance of Obligation towards Non-Tax State Revenue.

Furthermore, PT Freeport Indonesia received two awards for the category of Contribution to the Local People, and Engineering Safety and Protection of the Environment.

Meanwhile, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk received an award for the category of Contribution to the Local People.
