MIND ID Group Strengthens Security of Strategic State Assets

Jakarta, 28 May 2025 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, stressed its commitment in guarding the security of its mineral resources and strategic state assets as part of its consitutional responsibility and trust according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Article 33 Clause 3. 

MIND ID ensures that the wealth of every mineral and coal resource are to be used to the fullest extent for the country and people of Indonesia.

This effort is manifested through the strengthening of strategic cooperation between MIND ID, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian Police Force (POLRI), in the context of supporting the security of mining operations, specifically coal to maintain sustainable operations and optimal contribution to the nation and the country. 

MIND ID Director of Risk Management and HSSE, Nur Hidayat Udin, explained that the aspect of security and safety is the main foundation in running the operational activities of the MIND ID Group.

He also stressed the importance of collaboration with TNI to ensure all lines of operations are protected from various disturbance potential, including illegal mining, which can harm the nation.

“MIND ID as a Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry has a great responsibility to ensure that all activities operate safely, orderly, and according to good corporate governance principles,” said Nur.

The cooperation covers support for territorial development and asset security within the operational areas of the MIND ID Group.

The company is consistent in implementing the function of strategic active holding by putting forward strategic asset security in an integrated manner and strengthening internal management at all levels of operations.

In such a manner, security can be heightened and risks can be minimalized to its lowest level, so that the impact on performance and production increases are in line with the more conducive operational environment.

“With strong synergy, we are optimistic in being able to protect all strategic state assets and raise the added value of the natural resources that we manage for Indonesia’s future,”  he concluded.
