MIND ID Group Channels 1,735 Sacrificial Animals From Sumatra to Papua

With the spirit of Iduladha 1447 H, the MIND ID Group has again channeled sacrificial animals to various operational areas throughout Indonesia, depicting its corporate concern and commitment to be present amidst the people.

This year, 1,735 sacrificial animals have been channeled, consisting of 825 cows an 748 goats.

The sacrifical animals come from MIND ID and all entities in the Group, from ANTAM, Bukit Asam, Freeport Indonesia, INALUM, Timah, to Vale Indonesia. The sacrificial animals were channeled in the operational territories of the MIND ID Group, from North Sumatra to Central Papua.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that the channeling of sacrifical animals this year is not only an annual agenda, but a form of corporate responsibility to be present and sharing together with the people in this significant moment.

“We hope that the sacrifical animals we have channeled bring actual benefits and welfare for all people in the operational territories of the MIND ID Group,” said Pria.

This program is part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility implementation which is implemented consistently and sustainably.

The distribution of sacrifical animals involved community groups and micro and small enterprises under its guidance, creating not only a social impact but also boosting local economic strength.

MIND ID Group personnel are also involved directly with the local people in every slaughter and distribution of the sacrifical meat.

The presence of the personnel in the midst of the people is hoped to strengthen relations, foster trust, and build closer collaboration in future.

“With this sacrifical animal program, we want the people to feel that the MIND ID Group is directly present. Not only as a mining company chasing economic benefits, but part of the public providing actual contribution for their social life,” Pria concluded.
