MIND ID Strengthens Industrial Transformation for Civilization at Minerba Convex 2025

JAKARTA - MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, emphasized its commitment to continuously support industrial transformation as the foundation for future civilization.

The spirit was manifested through MIND ID’s participation at the Minerba Convex 2025, in which the company presented an interactive booth with the title “Transformining”.

MIND ID’s booth was designed to invite visitors to follow the long journey of contribution by the mining sector to the world’s industrial transformation.

MIND ID invited the audience to discover the major changes happening from simple technology to modern technology, which is now the driving force of various human civilization activities.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that the presence of MIND ID at the Minerba Convex 2025 is not only to take part in an exhibition, but is a means of educating the public on the basic role of the mining sector in modern civilization.

“We want the public to understand that every technological convenience and advancement being felt today is not free from the support of the mining mineral sector. From copper cable, coal energy to light and strong aluminium, all are the tangible reality of the mining industry’s contribution for civilization,” said Pria at the sidelines of the Minerba Convex 2025, Wednesday (15/10/2025).

The concept of the MIND ID booth is divided into four thematic zones representing the journey of civilization transformation.

The first zone, “Connect the World”, describes the communication transformation – from simple tin-can telephone to global connectivity through modern smartphone. In this zone, visitors are invited to feel how minerals such as aluminium, copper, nickel, tin, and graphite play an important role in forming the present digital era.

The second zone, Power of Transformation, depicts the energy shift from coal to sustainable energy sources. Visitors can interact with miniature cars, where the “coal dummy” becomes the symbol of the beginning of industrial civilization which has now developed into clean energy.

Coal burning can now produce more energy with lower greenhouse gas emission.

The third zone, Write the Future, records the changes from typewriters to digital intelligence. By touching the touchpad, visitors can feel how digital technology hastens and simplifies the delivery of information, compilation, transmission, to processing.

The last zone, Light the Life & Move the Future, presents the journey of energy source transition to become more environmental friendly. The simulation of the difference between conventional and electric cars emphasizes industrial future trends which are more green and efficient.

Pria stressed that MIND ID sees industrial transformation not merely technology change, but change in human civilization, which is a crucial support of the mining minerals.

Mining minerals from bauxite, copper, nickel, tin, to coal, will continue to be the backbone for the continuation of future industrialization transformation.
