11 June 2026

MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, displayed a booth “MINERALive: Mines Providing Life” at the Invirotech 2026 organized by the Ministry of the Environment (KLH).

Minister of the Environment, Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat, said that the business world has an important role in encouraging the application of clean technology and hasten circular economy as part of the efforts to respond to various environmental challenges.

“The business world has an important role in adopting clean technology, raising environmental compliance, and hastening circular economy,” said Jumhur at the opening of Invirotech 2026, Thursday (11/6/2026).

According to Jumhur, technology and innovation need to be continuously developed to provide actual solutions for environmental problems, while at the same time, assist industries in implementing their responsibilities.

“INDO ENVIROTECH is an event that brings together ideas with needs, technology with field problems, innovation with policies, as well as commitment with implementation,” he said.

He added that technology must provide concrete benefits for the industrial sector as well as the people.

“Technology must assist industries to fulfill their environmental responsibilities,” Jumhur stressed.

The booth was also visited by the Minister of the Environment, Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat, who went to various circular economy based environmental management programs held by MIND ID and members of the group.

The presence of the MIND ID Group is part of the efforts to show the actual practice of environmental impact-oriented waste management, as well as creating economic added value for the people.

MIND ID shows that waste managed properly can become a resource which provides environmental benefits, while at the same time, opening economic opportunities for the people.

In the booth, MIND ID showcased three main areas representing integrated waste management approaches.

The first area showed maggot based organic waste management program which had been implemented in various operational areas. During the Invirotech 2026, organic waste gathered from visitors are processed directly using maggots, with the results such as decomposed waste volume and organic fertilizer produced, are displayed openly.

From this activation, visitors can get fertilizers, which constitutes an invitation to jointly restore their surrounding environmental sustainability.

In the second area, MIND ID demonstrates plastic waste management with its plastic press and plastic crusher which represent the implementation of the waste bank program in public.

Visitors can participate by giving their plastic waste, which was then processed and displayed as part of the recycling process.

The 3D printer technology was also displayed, showing that anorganic waste in the MIND ID Group is able to produce handicraft products which are useful and have economic added value. This display shows that with the right innovation, waste can be utilized as raw material with economic value, and at the same time, opening business opportunities for the people.

At the top part of the booth, MIND ID presented an installation with the theme “dark clouds and bright clouds” as a symbol of the company’s commitment in supporting a cleaner and sustainable environment.

This installation represents the long term objective of various waste management programs implemented, which is to create a better environmental quality for the coming generation.

MIND ID is certain that waste management is an important part in the mining industry transformation towards a more sustainable practice.

He hopes that there will be more public support towards the strengthening practice of environmental management based on innovation and technology.

For MIND ID, mining is not merely producing mineral, but also ensuring that each process provides a positive contribution to the environment and the people,

In line with the thought, Jumhur stressed that development and environmental protection should no longer be debated.

“Developing Indonesia does not mean neglecting the environment. Maintaining the environment also does not mean forgetting development. Do not dispute development with environment,” he stressed.
