Presenting Immersive Technology Installation Room, MIND ID introduces a National Strategic Project through Virtual Experience in Customer Month
Jakarta, 16 September 2023 – During the 2023 National Customers Day, MIND ID presented a different kind of booth, using immersive technology to create an interactive experience for visitors.
At the Sewindu National Strategic Project (PSN) Edutainment Expo held at Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta, 13-16 September 2023, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry presented a Downstream Virtual Experience to welcome the Eight Years PSN celebration.
The Downstream Virtual Experience is a room with immersive technology that presents interesting visuals. Not only that, the information presented uses information technology in which moving pictures equipped with sound systems are projected on all walls and floor surfaces in the room, enabling visitors to feel the unique and interesting experience.
Visitors are invited to go on an adventure with immersive content, presented by MIND ID, which takes the form of the project and smelter owned by the MIND ID Group, such as the FeNI Haltim Smelter owned by PT ANTAM Tbk, the Mulut Yambang Sumsel 8 Steam Power Plant of PT Bukit Asam Tbk, the Mempawah Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) owned by PT INALUM and PT ANTAM Tbk, the Single Line Copper Smelter of PTFI, and the Ausmelt Furnace Top Submerge Lance (TSL) owned by PT Timah Tbk

The MIND ID Group’s booth at the Sewindu PSN has an elegant design in the form of half a circle with a combination of red and blue, specific to MIND ID. On the top, the blue MIND ID is shown together with the red colored logo of the company.
Meanwhile, the information board shows the performance of the MIND ID Group in advancing Indonesia’s mining industry, including being part of the PSN player. While, on the top part of the information board, the banners of the MIND ID Group of companies, PT ANTAM Tbk, PT INALUM, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, are shown.
MIND ID celebrated the event by inviting visitors to make the content, in the form of a photo or video, during their visit to the MIND ID booth or when they are in the Downstream Virtual Experience. The committee has also prepared 1 gram of precious metal as the prize for 10 winners.
The Sewindu PSN celebration was implemented with the cooperation of Ministries and state institutions, PSN’s Person in Charge of the Cooperation Project, international and private institutions, which have a part in PSN with the aim of making the 2024 Indonesia Gold Vision a reality.
MIND ID Corporate Secretary Heri Yusuf said that the development of digital technology has created many breakthroughs in presenting creative content. Aside from audio-visuals, this immersive technology can allow visitors direct interaction. The implementation of the technology in the context of National Customers Day is to create an exhibition room that brings MIND ID closer to customers.
“That is the reason MIND ID opened an immersive exhibition room. As an institution that manages natural resources, MIND ID provides a room for the public to better understand energy and mining as well as be inspired by the experience,” said Heri.
Heri explained that people’s desire to know about a project is not only limited to sight but also to feel. That is why MIND ID offers the technology that enables visits to feel a story and at the same time create a room that brings it into reality.
“We hope that the immersive exhibition room at the Sewindu PSN Edutainment Expo can boost repeat visits, which in the end, also raise the literacy of the public, and of course in the National Customers Day moment, bringing us closer to customers,” he said.
As a state enterprise, MIND ID participated in the Swindo PSN celebration by exhibiting and providing educational facilities to give information to the public on PSN, from start to benefits.
To invite participants to visit the Sewindu PSN exhibition in person, MIND ID has prepared a quiz session that appears on the MIND ID booth screen. The quiz is about general knowledge and light information on the MIND ID Group. As many as 10-15 of the best winners will eventually be chosen and given MIND ID merchandise prizes.
