MIND ID: Blessing From Nature, for Indonesian Civilization

MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, strengthens its commitment to maintain and manage the natural wealth of Indonesia for the sake of building future civilization and welfare of the Indonesian people.

In celebrating the 80th Independence Day of Indonesia, MIND ID raised the theme “From Nature, Life is Celebrated”, and stressed that nature and all minerals contained within it are a blessing, which becomes the crucial foundation in building future lives and civilization.

The MIND ID Group interprets Independence Day by continuously strengthening its commitment to responsibly protect, maintain, love nature, and consistently celebrate life by continuously protecting national unity and cohesion.

MIND ID also presents an interactive booth “Listening to Proclamation” which invites visitors to hear the sound of the seconds of Indonesian Independence movement to the Reading of Proclamation by the Founding Father of the Nation.

There is also a Phone Booth which invites visitors to provide Independence messages which can become an encouragement for those to continue working for the Country.

MIND ID President Director, Maroef Sjamsoeddin, said that the future development of Indonesia Emas 2045 or Golden Indonesia 2045 requires the presence of sustainable mineral wealth.

Therefore, MIND ID and all of its Members, interpret independence this year by strengthening its commitment to protect, maintain, and love nature.

“With a protected nature, we can together celebrate life full of values, and build future civilization, and stronger social welfare,” he said.

Maroef stressed that Independence, achieved eight decades ago, is the result of the unity in struggles of heroes and founding fathers, while at the same time duty for subsequent generations to maintain.

By holding strong to the 1945 Constitution, MIND ID is committed to protect the nation, advance general welfare, enlighten lives and create social justice for all Indonesian people.

MIND ID is also given the mandate to manage the wealth of natural resources and boost downstreaming efforts to strengthen domestic industrial sovereignty.

Exploration, mining, and mineral processing are implemented with reference to good corporate governance and responsible mining practice.

MIND ID is also committed to protect the continuation of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs focussing on the empowerment and guidance of the local people to support the strengthening of the peoples’ economy,raising access to health, as well as providing quality education in the regions.

Conservation programs and environmental recovery are implemented consistently in each phase, starting from pre-mining to post-mining, as actual proof of love for the motherland.
