MIND ID Presents MediaMIND 2025

Jakarta, 10 July 2025 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, again presents MediaMIND 2025, a journalistic competition which has entered its fourth year.

The theme “Mining Potentials, Moving the Economy” reflects the strategic commitment of MIND ID in delving into and managing the country’s potential, from natural resources, people, culture, to environment, as a foundation of stronger economic growth.

MIND ID as the mover of downstreaming efforts continues transforming through operational efficiency, risk mitigation, as well as the adoption of responsible and sustainable mining practices.

Every post-mining land is rehabilitated and reused for the local people, as a form of commitment to development for the welfare of all Indonesian people.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, explained that MediaMIND is not only a competition, but also a room for collaboration between the MIND ID Group and journalists, students, and the public.

“He believes that the MIND ID Group has various strategic downstreaming programs, sustainable programs, and social and environmental responsibility programs, which can be processed to produce journalistic works that are informative, educative, and at the same time, impact and awaken the public.

“We hope that MediaMIND can become a good facility to present journalistic works which impact positively, particularly to raise the literacy of the public and add value to the national mining sector,” he stressed.

Pria emphasized that the holding of the MediaMIND 2025 continues to put transparency and objectivity in high regard in each process of the competition.

The organizing committee, teams involved, and the appointed jury members consist of individuals with high dedication, consistent in selecting the best works fairly and professionally.

“Each participant has the same chance of creating and winning this competition. We hope that the participants will be able to present their best work, which we believe will be a real contribution to the advancement of the Indonesian mining industry sector in the future,” he concluded.
