MIND ID Commitment to Strengthen Governance of Business Integrity

Jakarta - MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, is committed to continously strengthen the application of the integrity and sustainability of corporate governance as part of the efforts to implement the downstreaming of natural mineral resource of the country. 

These efforts are realized through various strategic programs covering the strengthening of business integrity, social & human rights, responsible environment, and corporate financial performance aspects.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that as a company owned by the state which functions as foundation for the future of Indonesia and world civilization, the application of integrity and sustainability governance is the main aspect of good corporate governance for MIND ID.

The company implements all process of good corporate governance, starting from planning, implementation of programs to integrated supervision in all members of the Group, so that the efforts to create added value of mineral resources are more optimal.

“The application of integrated and sustainable governance becomes the main foundation for us to protect the trust of stakeholders, while at the same time, ensure the continuity of the business for MIND ID and all Members of the Group,” he said.

As part of the efforts to protect the consistency of an integrated and sustainable governance, MIND ID has completed the independent evaluation as a performance standard of the company. MIND ID has received the Tempo INSTAR 2025 award with Committed level.

Tempo INSTAR is an independent evaluation event held by Tempo Media Group in cooperation with Transparancy International Indonesia to measure the level of integrity, sustainability, and corporate resilience, evaluated based on corporate governance, social responsibility and fulfilment of HAM or Human Rights, environmental management, as well as financial performance and resilience.

In the governance aspect, MIND ID is considered able to implement the program to prevent corruption as well as conflict of interest management in the internal environment of the company as a foundation of transparent and accountable business ecosystem. 

MIND ID also puts forth the fulfillment of Human Rights for employees and the people living around operational territories through the protection of worker rights, public empowerment, as well as sustainable social impact management.

In the occupational safety aspect, MIND ID refers to the ISO 45001 and Mining Safety Management System (SMKP) with zero fatality target and sustainable improvements to support safe and productive operations.

Commitment to environmental sustainability is carried out through the management of water, control of greenhouse gas emission, as well as waste management oriented to ecosystem balance around the operational areas.
