MIND ID Prepares 2045 Golden Generation With Quality Education

Jakarta, 5 May 2025 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, is consistent in developing quality Golden Generation of Indonesia through various initiatives in the educational field.

MIND ID believes that the biggest investment for the future of the nation is the strengthening of quality and globally competitive human resources.

In line with President Prabowo Subianto’s fourth Asta Cita (eight primary missions) which stresses on the elevation of national education quality, the MIND ID Group has consistently implemented strategic programs, from scholarships, teacher training, to support of educational infrastructure.

Throughout 2024, MIND ID has channeled benefits to 4,069 scholarship recipients, implemented training for 503 teachers, provided new skills for 267 community participants, as well as improving educational facilities in 60 location points in various operational areas.

Commemorating National Education Day, MIND ID also held the Junior Miners Fun Fest 2025 – the first interactive exhibition in Indonesia, specially designed for children from 3 to 13 years.

The program presented enjoyable study experience while at the same time introduced the basics of the mining world, from operations, innovative technology to sustainable practices, all presented through educational games.

MIND ID President Director, Maroef Sjamsoeddin, stressed that education is one of the main pillars of the company’s social responsibility, which is continuously strengthened.

“We believe that the quality of life of the people will be raised through good education access and sustainable capacity of development programs. The Junior Miners Fun Fest 2025 program is our early efforts to introduce the world of mining creatively and enjoyably for children,” he said. 

Maroef also presented various leading programs which have been implemented as part of the real contribution of the MIND ID Group in Education, not less than 30,000 students have been given scholarships from Elementary School to Universities.

MIND ID hopes that all the social responsibility programs will be able to play a significant role in forming a tough and competitive Indonesian generation.

“We believe that today’s children are holders of Indonesia’s development relay batons, in which parents have an important role in the development and start of their educational foundation,” Maroef concluded.
