MIND ID Strengthens Production and Sales Governance to Optimize Added Value and Benefits

MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, stresses its commitment in strengthening mineral and coal production and sales governence in an integrated manner.

This step is taken to ensure that all mining activities, from upstream to downstream, are able to provide optimal added value and greatest benefits for the country and people.

These efforts are in line with the spirit of mineral and coal governance contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2025, in which the government, through the ESDM Ministry, has stipulated the changes to the policy in submitting the Work Plan and Budget (Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Biaya – RKAB) from a period of three years to one year.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that MIND ID together with all holding members, have consistently strengthened the governance of mineral and coal production and sales activities based on the principles of transparancy, accountability and responsibility.

“Basically, all natural resource wealth are owned by the country. We are committed to operate all activities under good governance so that the benefits created can be fully given to the country and people, in line with the mandate of the President’s Asta Cita (core missions),” he said.

Pria explained that through measured and integrated governance, MIND ID protects the production and sales at a level which can be measured. This is being done so that the value of the raw materials which have been produced and processed are continuously maintained, thereby able to support the income of the company and the country.

Pria added that production and sales governance has become the efforts of the MIND ID Group to continue strengthening the strategic initiative in downstreaming and industrialization in order to raise the added value domestically.

In this manner, mineral resources can be optimized for domestic needs to raise industrial competitive ability and economic development.

“For MIND ID, governance constitutes the basic principle in every mining activity, from upstream to downstream. As in a foundation, good governance will strengthen the creation of added value from efforts to develop civilization,” Pria concluded.
