MIND ID Donates to 6 Orphanages in Commemoration of First Anniversary

Jakarta, 21 March 2024 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, donates to orphans and provides groceries to the local people on its first anniversary which falls on 21 March 2024.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Heri Yusuf, explained that the donations to a number of orphanages are aimed at promoting collaboration and synergy through employee activities outside of office routines.

The donations are also aimed at coordinating and promoting the application of the AKHLAK or core values being implemented throughout the State Enterprises.

“In commemoration of the First Anniversary of MIND ID, together with the 1445 H Ramadhan month, MIND ID Group will hold a series of activities with the theme “Safari Ramadan 1445 H” said MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Heri Yusuf.

Donations are given to six orphanages, Panti Asuhan Chairunissa, Yayasan Harapan Remaja Rawamangun, Yayasan Onkologi Anak Indonesia, Yayasan Sohibul Al Istiqomah, Yayasan Panti Yatim Indonesia, and Yayasan Umar Bin Khattab.

Apart from donations to orphans, assistance is also given to the foundations’ management. MIND ID also provided other donations such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, sardines, flour, and other basic needs. Sharing of presents for families of orphans is also held.

Aside from strengthening the downstreaming efforts and raising the added value of sustainable mining products, MIND ID also implemented various social programs for the local people.

We hope that these activities will be able to provide more meaning to Ramadan for those in orphanages. We, at MIND ID, will take this momentum to give the message that the Company is consistent in sharing and is concerned towards others,” he said.

This is just a small step of various social and environmental responsibility programs implemented by MIND ID and its holding members, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, and PT Freeport Indonesia.

“Assistance programs such as the provision of groceries and donations to orphans are commitments of the MIND ID Group to always contribute to the local people in the month of Ramadan. MIND ID Group hopes that the Ramadan Safari activities will be beneficial for the local people,” said Heri.
