MIND ID Group Sets Off 2,400 People in Joint Homeward Bound Program

Jakarta, 27 March 2025 – Eid is always a moment of togetherness awaited by millions of Indonesians. In the spirit of Present for the Nation, MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, again shows its commitment by supporting a program called Mudik Gratis 2025, or the 2025 Free Homeward Bound program.

As a state-owned company, MIND ID not only has the role of driving the national economic wheels, but also of being proactive in various social programs which provide direct benefits to the people, particularly in important moments such as Idul Fitri. 

In the Joint Homeward Bound Program of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Minister Bahlil Lahadalia and MIND ID Vice President Director, Dany Amrul Ichdan, attended the event to release homeward bound participants in Jakarta, Thursday (27/3/2025).

Bahlil extended his appreciation to all State Enterprises, including the MIND ID Group, who have been proactively communicating to create a memorable homeward-bound program and Lebaran Idul Fitri moment.

We have all provided extremely satisfactory technical communication in the ESDM Ministry, in the preparation for Idul Fitri this year,” he said.

During the opportunity, Dany stressed that the participation of MIND ID, together with MIND ID Group Members such as ANTAM, Bukit Asam, INALUM, and TIMAH, in this joint homeward bound program, is evident of the commitment of the company to be present and to provide benefits for the people.

The MIND ID Group provides buses and ships for a total of 2,400 homeward-bound people, up 12.4% over last year, which reached 2,136 people.

“We hope that our presence has provided a positive impact on the people. This is part of the Present for the Nation spirit, that MIND ID is always present in the midst of the people, particularly in important moments such as Idul Fitri,” said Dany.

In total, MIND ID and Members of the MIND ID Group took part in contributing 17 buses and 6 ships for more than 1,400 homeward-bound travelers in the Mudik Gratis BUMN 2025 or State-Owned Company Free Homeward Bound 2025 Program.

The route taken, among others, is from Jakarta to Solo, Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Malang, Wonogiri, Bangka, and Belitung. There is also a route from Kuala Tanjung to Banda Aceh, Padang, and Pekanbaru, as well as from Padang to Kuala Tanjung, and from Pekanbaru to Kuala Tanjung.

MIND ID and MIND ID Group Members, namely ANTAM, Bukit Asam, and TIMAH, also support the Joint Homeward Bound Program of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources 2025, by providing 15 buses for 750 travellers.

The route taken is from the Secretariat General of the Ministry of ESDM in Jakarta, to Yogyakarta, Magetan, Madiun, Kendal, Batu, Padalarang, Kediri, Lampung & Padang, as well as Palembang & Medan.

In the joint homeward-bound program, the MIND ID group also provided goodie bags, neck pillows, and food for breaking the fast.
