State Enterprise Volunteers (Relawan Bakti BUMN) at Tanjung Enim Ensure Natural Benefits Are Directly Felt by the People

MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with PT Bukit Asam Tbk, conduct the State Enterprise Volunteers program at Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera.

This activity is a series of commemoration of the 80th Independence Day and becomes the company’s reality in ensuring that the management of mined minerals provide direct benefit to the welfare of the people towards Indonesia Maju or Onward Indonesia.

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that this activity is one of the efforts to celebrate independence based on sustainable value.

“The State Enterprise Volunteers program in Tanjung Enim is not only a social program, but part of the MIND ID Group’s endeavour to celebrate independence. We get life from nature, and together, the people celebrate life by presenting welfare and sustainability,” said Pria Utama.

Pria Utama described in the program that this time, MIND ID and Bukit Asam presented various activities focusing on health, education, people empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

MIND ID and Bukit Asam facilitate free medication and integrated health posts (posyandu) equipped with medicine and medical equipment for public health centers in Tanjung Enim.

There is also a fun educatrion program for elementary school children and various educational assistance for students and teachers.

MIND ID and Bukit Asam also hold workshops with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to support the peoples’ economy, as well as a planting program of fruit trees and plant nursery to support environmental conservation.

Pria Utama stressed that the presence of State Enterprise volunteers among the people is evident that those from MIND ID are present to ensure the natural benefits from the motherland.

“We received the trust to manage the mineral wealth contained in the earth. Our duty is also to ensure that the benefits are felt inclusively by all the Indonesian people,” he concluded.
