MIND ID Safari Ramadhan Urges Concern for Future of Generation

10 March 2026

JAKARTA - MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, strengthens its commitment in supporting the future development of Indonesia’s young generation. These efforts are realized through various social activities reaching all public circles.

During the Holy Month of Ramadhan, MIND ID conducted Breaking the Fast Together with Orphaned Children as part of its 2026 Ramadhan Safari Program. The activity, conducted on Tuesday (10/3/2026), becomes a warm time to inspire the young generation, particularly orphaned children and children with disabilities.

Nearly 300 children were given packages of basic needs and gifts. They took part in various Ramadhan activities such as reading the Al-Qur’an, spiritual talk or tausiyah, breaking the fast, to congregational tarawih prayer.

The children were entertained by puppet shows, as well as motivational stories from MIND ID Director of Corporate Transformation and Human Capital Management, Pambudi Soenarsihanto. The children were told inspirational stories which bring about the spirit and trust in themselves to reach for their aspirations and future.

One of the memorable moments was when the children handed over their painting to MIND ID President Director Maroef Sjamsoeddin. The painting depicted the symbol of courage of the children in expressing themselves, while at the same time, reminding the company on the importance of providing them with sustainable space and support.

MIND ID Corporate Secretrary, Pria Utama, said that the holy month of Ramadhan is a momentum for MIND ID and Group Members to strengthen social concern while at the same time, ignite the optimism of the young generation.

“We hope that through this activity, more children who have the spirit and high expectations in attaining the future, will then contribute to develop the welfare of Indonesia,” he said.

Pria emphasized that the value produced from the management of natural resources will, at the end, return to the people in the form of actual benefits which are sustainable, and directly felt.

“Mining is not just digging and selling natural resources, but ensuring that the benefits can be felt up to the young generation, becoming their energy to build a future civilization full of hope,” said Pria.
