MIND ID and Danantara Assist Affected Regions in Quick Move Synergy Facing Sumatra Disaster

MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with Danantara- BP BUMN (State Enterprise Management Board) continue their quick action to support disaster handling and recovery in the territory of Sumatra.

Through the synergy of Danantara Indonesia and BP BUMN deploying thousands of volunteers and hundreds of armada from 11 State Enterprises, MIND ID provides assistance to a number of territories affected by the disaster, specifically in the province of Aceh.

Danantara Indonesia Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, is leading the release of Volunteers and Assistance Armada.

These activities show the presence of the country in responding to crisis situations and ensure that humanitarian assistance can immediately cover the affected people.

In these humantarian actions, MIND ID channels medical assistance and daily needs with three trucks containing more than 100,000 medicine, consisting of eye drops, vitamins, cough drops, medication for fevers, stomach ulcers, allergy, flu, diarrhea, topical medication, diapers for babies and adults, wet and dry tissues, baby milk, milk bottles, as well as various health equipment.

Dony Oskaria, in his speech, stressed that the role of State Enterprises in disaster situations is part of the national responsibility as a state-owned enterprise.

“State Enterprises are owned by the Indonesian people. That is why, every time people are in need, our presence is not a choice, but a responsibility. Since the start of the disaster, we stressed that the presence of State Enterprises is not only to complement, but is a form of responsibility as a state-owned enterprise,” he said on Friday (19/12/2025).

MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that the participation of MIND ID in humanitarian missions is a real commitment of the company to be present and provide quick action together with the country in handling disaster situations.

“In disaster conditions, being present and providing quick action are very important. MIND ID together with State Enterprise Volunteers endeavour to become part of the solution by ensuring that the assistance needed by the affected people can be quickly provided and used optimally,” he stressed.

Pria added that in natural disaster situations, MIND ID is committed to always be present, ensuring assistance is right on target so that the people can immediately recover and ensure the process is running quickly. 

“Through the Danantara-BUMN Peduli synergy, MIND ID stressed its commitment to continually contribute to humanitarian efforts, not only as a business entity, but also as part of the national ecosystem which is concerned and socially responsible to the public,” he said.
