MIND ID Secures ISO 27001 Certification for Adopting Information Security Management Systems

Jakarta, 13 September 2022. MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry in Indonesia, has adopted the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). MIND ID has secured the SGS acknowledged, ISO 27001 international standard certification at the end of August 2022.

ISMS is a series of inter-related systems within the organization or company used to manage and control information security risks, to protect as well as maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information.

MIND ID’S Director of Business Development, Dilo Seno Widagdo, said that it is extremely important to maintain security of data and information, protect corporate documents, which at the end, will elevate the image of the Company.  “The adoption of ISMS is evident of our consistency to achieve compliance and manage security risks effectively, as well as maintain the trust of stakeholders,” said Dilo.

Securing the ISO 27001:2013 from SGS and the National Accreditation Committee is evident of MIND ID’s commitment. MIND ID’s achievement is the joint collaboration with its Members: PT Antam Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero), PT Timah Tbk. The certification is a step for MIND ID to fulfil the mandate of the Government to be a World Class Company.

Furthermore, MIND ID has also secured the SNI ISO 37001:2016 on the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP). The SNI ISO 37001:2016 is designed to assist organizations to stipulate, implement, maintain, and promote anti-bribery programs to fight bribery and its impact.

With the SNI ISO 37001:2016 certification, all employees shall comply with the anti-bribery and corruption policy by adopting the principles such as Proportional, Commitment from Top Management, Risk Evaluation, Feasibility Test, Communication, Supervision and Review.
