MIND ID Supports Use of Domestic Products and Services to Promote Synergy of State-Owned Enterprises

Jakarta, 21 September 2022 – MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with PT Pos (Persero) and PT Sarinah, sign the Memorandum of Understanding to enter into synergy to support the use of domestic products and services.

The Memorandum of Understanding is signed by MIND ID’s Director of Institutional Relations, Danny Amrul Ichdan, PT Pos (Persero) President Director Faizal Rahmad Djoemadi, and PT Sarinah Director of Business Development and Property, Selfie Dewiyanti, at Sarinah.

The cooperation initiative is expected to strengthen the economy in Indonesia through the accelerated use of domestic products, thereby opening opportunities for the development of Small Medium Enterprises. Moreover, the initiative will also develop potentials in financial, courier and logistics, as well as asset utilization services.

Dany said that, “In line with the AKHLAK values of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, specifically in collaboration, MIND ID is committed to support the synergy among State-Owned Enterprises. This is also in alignment with the Government’s program to accelerate the level of domestic component utilization.

The cooperation will still pay due attention to good corporate government, mutual support and providing added value with one another. “MIND ID responds positively to this cooperation. Not only for MIND ID, PT Pos (Persero), and PT Sarinah, but also for the increased welfare of Small Medium Enterprises and the local communities,” Dany added.

This is in line with the commitment of MIND ID, together with its Members, PT Antam Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero), PT Timah Tbk, to continue efforts to promote the class of Small Medium Enterprises. One of the ways this can be achieved is  through the involvement of Small Medium Enterprises as part of the company’s supply chain, in accordance with the directives of the President and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises.

MIND ID Group’s contribution in developing Small Medium Enterprises in 2021 encompassed 501 active members whose levels have been promoted, from a total of 6,561 SMEs under the stewardship program of MIND ID.

“MIND ID Group’s presence is expected to contribute towards the formation of better civilization and sustainability, from mining products as well as contribution to communities, for the present as well as post-mining period,” Dany concluded.
