Seven MIND ID Group Personnel Receive Presidential and KESDM Awards

Jakarta, 24 August 2021 - MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, with members PT ANTAM Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero) and PT Timah Tbk, proudly announce that seven personnel of the MIND ID Group have received the Satyalancana Wira Karya award, Satyalancana Pembangunan award from the Indonesian Government and the Dharma Karya Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral award from KESDM (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources).

The Satyalancana Wira Karya award is given to those who are considered as having served the country and the Indonesian nation in a specific field, thereby bringing benefits to the environment and becoming a role model for others.

The Satyalancana Wira Karya award is received by two Bukit Asam personnel, and one TIMAH personnel, namely, Satria Wirawan, Senor Manager Information Technology who has succeeded in adopting the latest 4.0 technology for production activities through the CISEA (Corporate Information System Application) to raise effectiveness of performance and efficiency of costs, success in revegetating the areas around the mines and maintaining water quality.

Aside from Satria, Julismi, President Director of PT Satria Bahana Sarana (PTBA Group), succeeded in building and implementing the design concept of the mining system and production equipment from the conventional to the electrical based system, enabling energy efficiency, reduction of CO2, driving the growth of local spare parts production and raising the competency of human resources.

Next, Idrus Hermawanto, Head of TIMAH’s Learning Center, who succeeded in raising the competency of human resources with the development of the Timah Learning Management System, enabling the improvement to TIMAH’s performance and education quality within MIND ID.

While the Satyalancana Pembangunan Award is given to Indonesian citizens who has served the country and people in the field of development in general or in a specific field. TIMAH’s Priyandi Pranata Kusumah, Muntok Metallurgy Unit Manager, has received this award for succeeding in developing the fuming furnace process innovation with the conversion of slag in tin dust, and subsequently reused as feed for the smelting process into tin metal. This program was able to reduce the volume of waste, impacted on the economy of the company and support in achieving the Green PROPER award through environmentally friendly technology.

Aside from the Satyalencana Wirakarya dan Pembangunan Award from President Joko Widodo, a personnel of Bukit Asam has received the Dharma Karya Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). Slamet Widodo has received the Dharma Karya Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Madya Award with the optimization and integration innovation of the Coal Handling Facility System through the adoption of the 4.0 Industrial Technology at PTBA.

While Adhi Germana and Satria Wirawan received the Dharma Karya Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Muda Award for their innovation and performance. Satria Wirawan for being successful in his innovation of digital technology utilization in optimizing production, while Adhi Germana succeeded in adopting the Green Mining System and digitalization of Maintenance Performance.

The Satyalencana Wirakarya dan Satyalencana Pembangunan Award from the Indonesian President as well as the Dharma Karya Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources constitute an appreciation to the state enterprise managing natural resources of the country in making its commitment a reality in the transformation and digitalization field for more optimal, efficient and sustainable mining operations. Moreover, the award to the MIND ID Group personnel is also the manifestation of the AKHLAK (Mandate, Competency, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive and Collaborative) culture of State Enterprise personnel.
