MIND ID Group donates Sacrificial Animals of 557 cows and 262 goats

Jakarta, 10 July 2022 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with MIND ID Group Members donated sacrificial animals to commemorate Idul Adha 1443 H. The MIND ID Group distributed a total of 819 sacrificial animals consisting of 557 cows and 262 goats.

This is MIND ID Group’s annual routine, reflecting the responsibility of the Company towards creating a better social life and strong community ties. The levelling of the covid-19 pandemic in the past two years is a challenge to be faced together, people have been impacted economically and must struggle to face the situation.

Niko Chandra, Institutional Relations Division Head, said that “During Idul Adha this year, the MIND ID GROUP donated sacrificial animals to express its gratitude to what has been achieved by the Company so far, and showing appreciation to the people who support and grew together with all MIND ID Group members. We hope that the communities living in the surrounding operational areas of the MIND ID Group will become stronger and have a better life.”

The 819 sacrificial animals have been distributed in the surrounding operational areas of each Company. MIND ID, as the holding company, distributed 23 cows and 20 goats throughout Jakarta, West Java and East Java. ANTAM channelled a total of 240 sacrificial animals, consisting of 62 cows and 178 goats distribution in the operational areas of ANTAM such as Kolaka and North Konawe, Southest Sulawesi; East Halmahera and Ternate, North Maluku; Tayan and Mempawah, West Kalimantan; Bogor, West Java; Jakarta and several exploration areas of ANTAM.

Bukit Asam distributed 196 cows and 62 goats at Tanjung Enim, Mura Enim and Palembang, South Sumatera; Ombilin, West Sumatera; Tarahan, Lampung and Jakarta. Inalum Operating donated 37 cows and 2 goats to the Batu Bara and Toba Samosir Regencies surrounding the aluminium smelter and PLTA (hydropower plant). While TIMAH distributed 239 cows to three provinces, Bangka Belitung, Riau Islands and Jakarta.
