MIND ID Group presented with Good Mining Practice Award on Mining & Energy Day From Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

Jakarta, 5 October 2021 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, with members PT ANTAM Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero) dan PT Timah Tbk, proudly announces that MIND ID Members have received the Good Mining Practice Award for 2021 from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) on 28-29 September 2021.

The Good Mining Practice Award is given to mining companies who have adopted good mining practices and to encourage and motivate the companies to achieve the highest possible performance in managing Mining Engineering, Mining Safety Management and Mining Environmental Management, Mineral and Coal Conservation Management, as well as Mineral and Coal Mining Services and Standardization Management.

The MIND ID Group receives the Good Mining Practices Award in five categories:

The Mining Industry Holding was officially formed on 27 November 2017, with PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) as the holding company with majority shares in four largest mining companies in Indonesia, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk and PT Freeport Indonesia.

On 17 August 2019, the Mining Industry Holding was transformed into MIND ID (Mining Industry Indonesia) to differentiate the functions of INALUM as Holding and as Operational company.
