MIND ID Encourages PT INALUM (Persero) to Collaborate in Managing Productive Land in North Sumatera

Jakarta, 16 December 2022 – MIND ID, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry in Indonesia, together with MIND ID Member, PT INALUM (Persero), signs a Memorandum of Understanding with PPAD, or the Association of Indonesian Army Retired Officers, to collaborate in utilizing INALUM’s productive land in North Sumatera. The signing of the MoU was conducted at the head office of MIND ID in South Jakarta on 16 December 2022.

MIND ID – PT INALUM (Persero) Director of Operations and Portfolio, Danny Praditya, said that this collaboration is one of the steps in turning land owned by the MIND ID Group into productive land to provide sustainable benefits to the communities and the environment.

“The utilization of the land would naturally be synergized with INALUM’s environmental conservation program, also as momentum to raise the social economy and strengthen the empowerment of retired officers of the Indonesian Army. This MoU is one of the means of elevating INALUM’s productivity to make a reality of the vision to “Become a Leading Integrated Aluminium-based and Environmentally Friendly Global Company” and provide wide benefits for all stakeholders,” said Danny.

The signing of the MoU by PT INALUM (Persero) Director of Operations and Production, Danny Praditya, and PPAD Secretary General, Dr. (C) Komaruddin S, S.IP, M.Sc., was conducted on Friday, 16 December 2022, at INALUM Jakarta Office. The utilization of the land located in the North Sumatera Province, covers, among others,Toba Regency, Asahan Regency, Simalungan Regency and Batu Bara Regency.

MIND ID continues to emphasize the implementatiion of operational excellence in all operational lines throughout the MIND ID Group. One of which is to drive optimalization on the use of productive land owned by the MIND ID Group.

PPAD, or the Association of Indonesian Army Retired Officers, is one of the organizations of the Army Retired Officers with the task to maintain unity, integrity and entrepreneurship of members, raise the social relations and prosperity of its families and, together with the Indonesian Army, participate actively in fulfilling independence through national development in order to maintain strong unity of the Indonesian Republic.
