MIND ID Recruit Best Talents in Second Phase of EXPLORER

Jakarta, 30 May 2022 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, with members PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero) dan PT Timah Tbk, reopens the second phase of the XPLORER management acceleration recruitment program. Registration opens on 30 May 2022 to 24 June 2022.

MIND ID Director for Institutional Relations, Dany Amrul Ichdan, said that “XPLORER is one of the commitments of MIND ID in developing its human capital.  XPLORER is a management acceleration program in which the knowledge, capability, as well as self-confidence of participants shall be established, expanded and accelerated in order to be able to sustainably manage Indonesia’s strategic mining commodities in future.”

The selected EXPLORER shall be trained for a period of two years and undergo four working rotations within the MIND ID group, namely MIND ID, ANTAM, Bukit Asam, Freeport Indonesia, Inalum, TIMAH and MIND ID Trading.  The selected XPLORER may be placed in up to two stream preferences, namely operations, business, finance, supply chain and corporate services.  In 2021, about 60 thousand registered, 26 of the best talents had been successfully appointed as XPLORERS.

Through XPLORER, participants will be able to advance their careers by accelerating their capabilities and expertise to achieve strategic positions, become qualified young leaders; and develop the nation with their active and positive contribution in advancing Indonesia.

There are five selection phases to be conducted during the 3 months:

• Online registration and situational judgement questions
• Online cognitive and personality test
• Case study presentation and interview
• Health check up/examination
• Final interview with MIND ID Group board of directors
