MIND ID Group’s Ramadhan Program Strengthens Community and Society Pillar

Jakarta, 28 April 2022 – MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, with members PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero) dan PT Timah Tbk, distributes aid for the Ramadhan 1443H program to strengthen its Community and Society Pillar, as well as realizing the social development pillar in the Sustainable Development Goals 1 and 2, namely, No Poverty and Zero Hunger.

 

MIND ID Group has distributed more than 28 thousand packs of staple foods; provided donations to 3 thousand orphans; assistance for 52 orphanages; support the operational activities of 223 mosques and 83 prayer rooms or musholas; and provided more than 400 food packs for breaking the fast around the operational area in more than 29 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia.

 

MIND ID Institutional Relations Director, Dany Amrul Ichdan, said that “All MIND ID Groups distribute social aid to communities surrounding their areas of operations in the month of Ramadhan 1443H.  For MIND ID, the Company visits and directly handed over social assistance to the community in Kampung Bambuan and Kampung Nelayan in Jakarta and Kampung Cicadas Babakan Madang Bogor”

 

One of the purposes of these activities is to enlighten the economic burden of the local people who are still impacted by the pandemic.  “Aside from this program, the Company will encourage other economic acceleration programs with the aim of supporting the national economic recovery.” Dany added.

 

Every year MIND ID Group distributes assistance and goes on a safari during the month of Ramadhan. This program is one of the social responsibility programs of the Company in accordance with the sustainability road map of MIND ID, specifically the Community and Society Pillar aimed, among others, to promote harmonious relations between the Company and stakeholders in the surrounding areas of operations.
